The Career Pathways Initiative was founded on the principles of community, integration and employment.

The Career Pathways Resource Center (CPRC), located at 950 E. 61^st Street has been honored for the last three and a half years to provide quality job readiness training and employment placement services to residents of the mid-south side. Since October 2007, more than 5,000 individuals have come through the doors of the center to attend an orientation, use the computer lab or attend job readiness workshops. Additionally, we have assisted more than 400 individuals in securing quality employment opportunities.

In an effort to provide more efficiency throughout our organization, effective June 30, 2011 we will be consolidating our services in our sister center – the Quad Communities Center for Working Families (QCCWF) at 4804 S. Cottage Grove. To help make the transition as smooth as possible, we invite those currently utilizing our services or interested in future services to visit the QCCWF’s website click here or call the center at 773.924.2205.

The QCCWF provides a number of free resources including a large computer lab where residents can access the internet for job search purposes, job search materials and postings. The QCCWF also offers access to income supports, financial coaching, job readiness training, career counseling, referral to additional providers and job placement services. The staff of the QCCWF is excited about and looking forward to working with individuals from the CPRC.

Again, it has been an honor to serve this community from the CPRC and we look forward to our continued relationships with residents, community based organizations and employers from the QCCWF.
